Good luck! You can read my blog on crossing the border to Mozambique from Zimbabwe if you’re continuing. Safe travels!
Hi Jojo! I was able to get it at the Chimoio border post.
Hello
When I applied for eVisa it did not ask about the Port of Entry. The email document stated that I take the letter to “any” port of entry to get the visa. But now I am reading that Pandamatenga Crossing does not have e-visa facility and that I have to buy visa again at the border. If the letter says that I can enter at any port of entry, why is there information on the web stating that only a select port of entries accept the evisa? I fit is it is a bummer as i have to shell out 150 bucks again at the border. Tried calling Pandamatenga border but Verizon says I am not dialing correct. I cna dial the # on the Botswana side without issue though. So I know its not my phone
I tried several times to make an online payment and was not successful. Did anybody experience that on the evisa Zimbabwe website. I need information on how to proceed.
I applied for my e-visa but they didn’t ask for my passport size photo or passport scan! I have made the payment and submitted my application! I was only asked about details about me, my passport, my nationality and marital status!
Hi All,
I had a problem getting my account activated as my email address did not receive the activation link. I was able to solve it though. Just click on Forget Password and this will enable you to nominate a new password, allowing you to finally get your account activated.
Hi Thanks for the tip! That worked for me before also and when I tried it recently, I did not receive the reset password link, unfortunately. But this is still worth a try! Thanks again hope it works for others
hey, i applied for e visa Zimbabwe but i received a refusal letter kindly tell me can i apply again or should i wait for some days?
i m from Pakistan and working in Dubai last 16 years
Hi Im not sure what the rules are now but you should be able to apply again just make sure your requirements are complete.
Hi Erika,
I am a Filipino working in Mozambique and I am planning to go to Zimbabwe by land. The e-Visa Portal does not seem to be working anymore. I tried to register but after a week now, I have not received any email to verify my account. Do you know of any other option to apply for an eVisa?
Another thing, as I live in Beira, I plan to cross the border close to Chimioi. I believe this is where you crossed coming to Mozambique. But this border post is not in he dropdown list. Is it under some other name by any chance?
Thank you in advance.
Hi! Unfortunately seems to be a dead end for online registration if it doesn’t work now. Try emailing them or calling the embassy and hope they actually reply. If not, your best alternative is to apply in Mozambique, they should have an Embassy in Maputo or at least try calling that for assistance.
For the border, I’m not sure if they have updated the list as I cannot access either but seems you are going through same as what I did. Refer to: https://whileinafrica.com/crossing-zimbabwe-to-mozambique/ (other way around)
If applying in the embassy, the point of entry should not be a problem. If you get the evisa to work, just research which among the list is closest and select that.
Goodluck and safe travels
Were you able to get your evisa? I am currently experiencing the same problem. But I am based in the Philippines
Hi Anna,
At that time yes i did get it. But now it seems they are having problems with receiving the emails to activate your account. Im afraid the only way for now is to try and contact them via their email. If you are not flying directly to Zimbabwe, you can also apply for it at the neighbouring countries. Hope youll manage to figure it out!
