A Philippine passport holder can apply for a visa upon arrival in Uganda international airport or major land borders.

Note that if you are visiting two or all of the following countries: Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda- it is best to acquire the Class T12 East Africa Tourist Visa. This is a joint tourist visa that entitles holders to travel to and within the Republic of Kenya, the Republic of Rwanda and the Republic of Uganda for tourism.

Requirements for multiple and single entry visa
• Valid passport
• Duly filled-out application form. Download the form here.
• Return or onward ticket
• Hotel booking/ address and other contact details of the host
• At least one blank page in your passport

Not cited but prepare just in case:
• Passport photo
• Yellow fever certificate
• Travel itinerary

You can apply for a visa online in their e-portal.

Those flying to Uganda can also apply for a visa upon arrival at the airport (i.e Entebbe Int’l Airport). For those entering Uganda by land, note that entry into or exit from Uganda should be made only through gazetted ports of entry/exit. In my case, I entered Uganda from Nairobi via Mbale.

Process:
• Upon arrival at your point of entry, follow the queue of people applying for a visa
• Present all the requirements stated above
• Pay the corresponding visa fee

Visa Fee:
100 USD – Single and multiple entry visa valid for 6-12 months
